Question:  How do I remove the “work without authorization” message on my old fiancé social security card?

I literally just got up and its 2 am so my brain is fuzzy so your question is not making sense to me.

 

what do you mean your OLD fiance? why would it matter? or do you mean your CURRENT SPOUSE since you are posting in the removal of conditions forum? I am so confused, but 2 am. just got up. need coffee.

 

if you mean your spouse. YOU can not. but it doesnt really matter. their greencard is all they need to prove work authorization along with ss #.my husband never replaced his social security card and never has an issue.due to the nature of his work (union sheetmetal worker) changes employers somewhat frequently.

 

you can request a reprint of a social security card from social security if it annoys you.

Your timeline says you don’t have a green card.  So you cannot remove this message.

Once you have your green card, go to the social security office and file for a new card. It’ll have the same number, but that statement will be removed.

YOU don't remove it. Fiancé has to do it herself once she has the green card. Make an appointment with the SSA...
