I just got an email today stating that they have taken action on my case and when I check the Case history on the USCIS  page, it says  'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS' on  September 13, 2022.

Not sure if its just a casual update or if I will see an approval or something else in the coming days.

We got approved a few months ago on a Thursday afternoon, received the NVC welcome email on Sunday night. So very quick! BTW, got approved by NVC less than 2 months after we submitted all documents.

To any November 2021 I-130 filers for parents who are still waiting for approval - any news? We filed my mom's I-130 in November 30, 2021 - it has been stuck on actively reviewing since March 4, 2022.

Not sure if it applies in your case, but if the petitioner has had a name change, then proof of legal name change (like marriage certificate) would also be needed.

Hello! I’m a USC, I petitioned my mom back in 2021. She received her interview date recently and would love to know if someone can enlighten me. My husband (co-sponsor) and I got laid off last year and we’re still looking for a job.

 

Does being unemployed affect my mother’s interview? What can we do? We reached out to NVC recently, but they said our documents have already left NVC, so they cannot do anything.
