Did they totally stop processing Sept? We're in the WAC2190133000 group and I don't think they've touched them since last Wednesday!

They only seem to do 1 or 2 a day in this range. I’m in the same range and it sucks. Sep 20-27 gets plenty of approvals every day 😑

I fail to see their process. I don't understand how they choose which they touch every day - the inconsistency is very frustrating.
Why not just have everyone push through a month until 100% are approved/RFE'd instead of juggling.

Is there a reason?

I’ve been tryna figure that out for the past month. It’s super super frustrating. I had to stop following all this stuff so intensely cos it was ruining my life and making my cry every day. I fully understand your feelings 😓 I guess it really just depends. But I do hope they hurry up with the first half of the month cos it’s really not fair this way.

Looks like they've shifted focus for Sept to the end of the month, now.

Has anyone in the September filers group received their welcome letter from the NVC?  I keep seeing conflicting information on the NVC site vs. I-797 notice of action.  I originally read somewhere that after 2 weeks I should start calling the NVC to make sure they've received my petition, but the notice of action and NVC website says to wait 30 days before contacting them.  Any advice?  We got approved on the 11th of November and received our notice of action letter on the 18th of November.

Hey, could someone explain how to interpret these daily updates? If I'm not mistaken, I think the number on the left corresponds to the case numbers, which are chronological. But what does the rest mean? My case number is in the 132000 range (September 1st, 2021, and still no NOA2 yet). So, to take as an example the most recent update from a few hours ago:

Does this mean that, on Tuesday, 1 person in my range was approved and 1 was sent an RFE? And what does "new" mean? Like, it's new to what? And what does "in progress" mean? What is it that's in progress? (Aren't all our cases in progress?)

Thanks!

Contrary to Ontarkie's stubborn insistence, this question is neither a duplicate nor in the wrong forum. The thread to which that question was wrongly merged asked when it's best to file AOS. The second question, the one linked, asks about whether/who to notify about moving. It was posted in the K1 forum, which is where it belongs. It doesn't belong in the K1 AOS forum because it doesn't ask anything about AOS.

I believe that's precisely what it means. On Tuesday - of the entire 500ish cases in the 132000-132499 range - they approved 1 and RFE'd 1.

Yes, thats the case number. It goes chronologically but cases are not approved in a chronological order. In progress means it had an RFE before a decision. New means this is the first action taken on the case.

Is there an easy way to see how many cases remain untouched in a particular range of case numbers?

You can run a programming script like Elson George and I do. Or you can run the numbers by hand. Is there a certain range you were wondering about? I can pull it from my spreadsheet for now.

Yeah, I'm in the 132000-132499 range.

Much appreciated!
