I-864s have to be personally hand signed.  Send per their instructions.  You can print the blank form, fill it in by hand, and sign it.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Oh Gosh I didn’t know that! I waited too long! I thought everything is electronics!

on I-864 , part 5, sponsor’s household size, number 1, is auto-populated ... it is blank now... should I override it with pen on print version?!

Since the form must be accurate, yes.

Hello there! To all my potential friends, please educate me on this: I was told by USCIS to hand sign  a new I-864 to sponsor my dad , I filled up a new one , I got a print , I hand signed it and I mail the hard copies to their chicago mail box! Do I ALSO need to scan all 10 pages and upload them on my uscis account as well?! Did you guys all send it to chicago mail box?! I am confused now! They didn’t instruct me should I mail it or scan and upload it , because now it is hand signed!!! Many thanks...

That makes  sense! After I sent the hard copy to their chicago mail box office earlier today , I figured it out something  is not right when I went back online account because the red rejected sign will stay there till  I uploaded it! Luckily I got copies from my hand typed now I am going to scan and upload it with help of office depo but not many of them know how to squeeze it under 2 mega bites! Any advice on how to squeeze it?! Thanks

Not me! On my lab top there were no options to hand sign electronic like Walmart check out! Something is not right!

Well there's no option to handsign on the PDF but I downloaded the signature page as a JPEG/PNG and signed it using a stylus.

This is just one way. I think there are several other ways to sign directly.
