  1. Hello, Once your I-751 has been submitted and you have received the 48 extension letter, is it advisable to periodically check the status of your interview/card. Do you check on my.uscis.gov occasionally, or do you wait for them to contact you?
  2. 12/21 - Got I-787C form giving online access to the 48 months extension form and appointment in Portland for biometric appt
  3. Is that two weeks from the time you received the IOE# via text or the day the package was sent off?
  4. We are able to track our case through the IOE inscribed on the back of the check cashed. How concerned one be if we dont' recieve a text despite sending the G1145 form?
  5. Our Case Status now shows: Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled On December 16, 2023, we scheduled you for a biometrics appointment and sent you an appointment notice
  6. How did you get the Receipt Notice w/ Extension Letter online? When I try to add the case using IOE# to the my.uscis.gov it's asking for Online Access Code which I don't have. Do I need to wait for the paper copy notice to get the Online Access Code? Thank you.

  10. About to file ours here. For folks attaching G-1145 w/ the i-751, are you still signing up to get an update from my.uscis.gov? Or is that for later stage when you have a Receipt Number.
  11. For providing all pages of utility and bank statements to be submitted, since these are available as PDF, has anyone had experience with submitting these documents in a reduced size? if I were to print them out as is, the entire statements would exceed 150 pages. For example, printing 2 pages per side of a sheet of paper in landscape mode. If double-sided, one sheet of paper effectively contains 4 pages of a statement. Any insights or experiences with this would be greatly appreciated!
  12. Also what do folks think of this affidavit letter from my mother about living with her: Dear USCIS Officer, I, [Parent's Name], am writing this affidavit to confirm the residence of my son, [Son's Name], and his wife, [Daughter-in-Law's Name]. They have been living in my home since [Date], and it is our intention for them to stay with me for the foreseeable future. In our shared residence, I have taken on the role of joyfully helping to care for their daughter, my granddaughter, [Granddaughter's Name]. I provide this affidavit for the USCIS as part of [Daughter-in-Law's Name]'s application to remove the conditions of her residence. For any further verification or questions, I can be reached at [Contact Number]. Warm regards, [Parent's Name]
  13. Thank you so much for your response. I would like to clarify one point and seek some feedback. The joint bank account in question was originally opened in the 1990s and included my mother's name until September 2022. My wife was added to the account in April 2022. Concerned that it might appear unusual for a third party to be named on our joint account, we removed my mother's name in September 2022. As a result, we are submitting bank statements from October 2022 to October 2023 to demonstrate our joint financial management during a period when only our names were on the account. We could provide a total of 20 months of statements; however, the first 8 months would show all three names.
  14. So the above address is house where we live. Which is owned by my mother. Our primary concern is that, because my mother owns the property where we live, we do not have a lease or mortgage statement to provide as evidence of our residency.
  15. Thank you so much for your comment. Unforutnately we changed our bank account and utility in both of our names about 1 year into our marriage. Really glad you brought up the living situation. We live with my mother so currently, there's no lease or mortgage. As such, I'm having difficulty proving this in a solid way. For example, my mom's address on her license is on her second house, a different address than the ones listed on our IDs. We are looking for pieces of evidence to prove this co-habitation in a convincing way but haven't found one yet.
  16. Hello, We are now within the 90-day window to file I-751. How does the following look for a list of evidence? • Copy of Permanent Resident Card (front and back) • Copy of our daughter’s Birth Certificate (front and back) • Copies of both of our Driver’s licenses/ID (front and back) • Copies of the tax transcripts for the previous two years (2021 and 2022) • Copy of joint bank account(Bank of America) statements for last twelve months. • Copy of Charles Schwab Designated Beneficiary stating petitioner as 100% primary beneficiary. • Copy of recently (September 2023) opened Charles Schwab college savings plan for our daughter listing both of our names as joint owners. • Copy of utility bills in both of our names for last twelve months. • A page of family photo college from last two years(2022-2023) Thank you in advance.
  17. Thank you. Totally wans't aware of this as the I-751 guide on visajourney nor the USCIS I-751 instruction mentioned this. I'm beginning to wonder what else I'm missing as far as the forms are concerned. As far as the forms, are the I-751 and G-1145 are the only forms we need? We are little more than month away from that start of 3-month window and trying to get stuff ready.
  18. This is kind of off-topic but when folks say they get text updates, is the USCIS sending it according to this information from I-751? Or is there somewhere like my.uscis.gov that people have to link up your NOA receipt number to your phone number?
  19. As a followup, from I-751 form: Just want to confirm that this has nothing to do with having to create a myuscis.gov account to generate this Online Account Number for the sake of submitting I-751. Thank you again.
  20. I would like to confirm with everyone that, the I-751 case cannot be tracked within myuscis.gov. Instead, tracking is only possible through the Receipt Number, which is provided on the Notice of Action after sending the I-751 packet. Can anyone verify if this is correct? Thank you.
  21. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has experience enrolling on arrival for Global Entry at Vancouver BC Airport (YVR)? We currently conditionally approved and we're planning a trip soon, so we're considering enrolling in Vancouver as DHS lists Vancouver BC - YVR airport as one of the international ones that do interviews. Has anyone done this before? What was your experience like? Any tips or advice? Some say with staffing issues across the country, they've been some airports severely limiting the hours when Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival is available.
  22. There are couple older threads about this but was wondering: Has anyone w/ CR1 on the forum has a recent experience entering the United States with an expired green card but with a recent four-year extension letter and Global Entry? Can you share your experience and any advice you may have on this? Also information on which port of entry was used would be very appreciated. Thank you.
  23. It ended up taking 3 months. If passport not in hand 5 weeks. Id recommend Go ahead and contact state senator office. They got me an passport agency appointment within week and had our passport same day of the appt. Just make sure iternry leaving within two weeks ready among other things the passport agenxy asks you to have.
  24. It's the process time. Basically the post offices' offer two options. Regular vs. Expedited. 6-9 weeks vs. 3-5 weeks. For $60 extra. No updates from their 1-877 hotline. At this rate, I think we will probably either have to wait 6-9 weeks or write letter to state senator office to prod them on. At least on Reddit, lots of folks seems to have very good luck with the senator method. It's quiet frustrating. Which is saying a lot since we've been through a few DS260s and NVC processes
