Are we the same person? ahah We also have lawyers but I am the beneficiary and constantly research stuff on my own. My lawyer is probably rolling his eyes every time there is a new email from me with another question or a remark 😂 So grateful to have them though!

But yes, I agree wit you and wow, I respect that you take active steps! It's very stressful times

Haha yeah I’m the exact same.

They try to assure me things will move forward and there’s just some hiccups and they have it handled but I will read for hours and hours to see if there’s anything I can do to make things move forward even if it’s just an inch in this mile.

Does this mean you have an interview scheduled already? Or are you still waiting on that?

They will usually just tell you when it was received, but if you want to know you can just ask them next time you are on the phone with them and they’ll let you know when it was received

Wow...congrats. Did you had to fill the DS-160 form once case number was assigned or you didn't do anything?

I hadn't filed the DS-160 by the time the consulate received my case. I did not do anything other than call for a case number from the NVC and check the status online.

We filled out the DS160 once we received our Case File Number at NVC based off one of the guides provided by VisaJourney.
