Ok, so since we are all a bunch of wordly-world travelers, I thought we could compile a list of the best places we all have liked....could be anything from a restaurant/bar/boutique/hotel/etc.

London: Hotel: the Berner's on Oxford Street shopping: any Karen Millen (that's anywhere in UK),

Dublin: Ghallager's Boxty House (tho it was ####### the last time we went there), Hotel: Fitzsimmons (great bar downstairs, lol)

Belfast: Ryan's Wee Bar and Grille....better boxtys than Ghallager's would go back there in a heartbeat if I could! They have very phat and original artwork...would love to buy one of them

Amsterdam: love this store called Velvet.

What's yours?

Hotels: Majestic in Cannes, The Hotel at the Manderlay Bay in Vegas, Raffles in Singapore, Soho House in London, Berners in Stockholm

Food: Gordon Ramseys at Claridges in London, Moulin Mougin in Cannes, this little cafe on Cheng chau island hong kong - best seafood ever

Bars -- I loved Lounge Ax in chicago when it still existed. I also love lincoln tap, rainbo room, delilahs and wrigleyville tap, but that's more about memories than anything. Curlers in Glasgow (called something else and now horrible). Really Like Buffalo Bar in London. The Phoenix Bar in London. Gravediggers pub in Dublin. THe lord edward in Dublin -- again, all about the memories.

The best bathroom in the world award goes to the felix in hong kong

Hong Kong (Kowloon). The Felix bar at the top of the Peninsula hotel. It has great views and the best bathrooms I've ever seen.

One of the swankiest bars in the world in one of the swankiest hotels on the planet, (a fleet of Rolls Royce’s are available for VIP guests) Felix seems straight out of a Bond film. Or is it Austin Powers? Designed by the ubiquitous Philippe Starck (if Bond’s creators are looking for someone bent on world domination, check this guy out) it comprises a restaurant serving Pacific Rim cuisine, a balcony, a wine bar, an American Bar and, as the centrepiece, a weird and wonderful Perspex box that’s a dance floor known as the Crazy Box. Groovy baby! Most spectacular of all though is the view. Felix is located on the top two floors of The Peninsula and you get a panorama of Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong Island and Kowloon in the neon jungle below. It’s pricey of course and regulars like to show off with champagne, but cocktails of all variations can be had at the various bars. And boys, you’ll want to open your eyes when you visit the little men’s room: you relieve yourself in a glass urinal with a view of the city below. Oh behave!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
