Hm kinda weird, but I guess there might be people which know more about it.

I guess sometimes we need to be more patient about it and wait a couple days more, if not maybe a call could help, but maybe there are more informations for how long you should wait until you can call the USCIS.

 

I am from Germany btw, not from the States :)

I can't believe I'm typing this, but I just checked and our case has been approved! NOA1 was February 3rd. I'm soooo excited!

Your NOA-1 should be backdated to feb not March.

Wait really?

In the letter it says "Received Date: 19th February" and "Notice Date: 19th March".

Isn't the I-797C the actual NOA1?

Usually it would but because of delay they are backdating the NOA-1. I know the lockbox is behind about 4 weeks but about a month ago they were behind 8-12 weeks. I filed in January and didn’t receive the notice until 8 weeks later. Just look at your other feb filers timeline. Also check your case number in the USCIS case tracker. That is your NOA-1 date.

Yes you can look at USCIS website under “news”. I believe it’s the Jan 8 update regarding the lockbox delays which said it would not affect processing time and the backdate. You can also review this discussion for more details.

I just got my text from USCIS!!!

 

The sucky thing is it says they received my petition March 3rd, even though I sent it on Feb 16th overnight... I paid for overnight so I had one less day to wait, but it seems that was pointless. 

 

I'm guessing my NOA1 will backdate to March 3. I'm really hoping to get this whole process done by Christmas!

USCIS Charged my card yesterday and sent me an email today. We filled out the e-notification as well, but instead of text they sent email. Still got it so I'm good with that.
Note to all: It went directly to junk mail, so make sure you're checking that!

 

Received date March 1st, Time to enter the next stage!

Even when the process was working at the fastest it has in the last five years, it still took over 3 months from NOA1 to NOA2, so I'd have to say I never understood the point of overnighting initial I-129F applications. One day just isn't going to make any significant difference (unless you're cutting things very closely in terms of a last meeting moving out of the two-year window).

I sent in my package February 28th, it was received and signed for March 4th. I just got my text tonight with my case number! I'm so excited!!! I know there's a long road ahead but I'm just ready for my Fiancé to be here already.

Our I-129F pack was delivered 25th February and the credit card was charged on 25th March. I assume within the next few days we'll receive the NOA1 and excited for the next waiting period!

We sent our petition Feb 10th and we haven't heard anything back yet.
