Hello everyone, my husband’s status was updated from “refused” to Administrative Processing... do you think his visa will be issued soon?

Administrative Process can be a few hours, a few days, weeks, months, or even (in some cases) more than a year.  Unfortunately, extended Administrative Processing is most common in MENA countries.  Patience is the key.  Good luck.

Yes I know AP can last days, months or years as my husband has been in AP for over 2 years... but on March 2020 his status changed to “refused” as so did a lot people who were on AP... but last night it was back to AP. So I’m wondering if the same has happened to anyone else?

We have joint Sponsor and my lawyer advised us to get a contract ( I-864  a) from joint Sponsor’s wife also . Wife doesn’t work at all and Joint Sponsor’ s income is good enough . Now my Lawyer is asking for proof of joint Sponsor and his wife’s relationship . They married long time ago and they don’t have marriage certificate. They have been filing taxes as married for more than two decades. What document can we provide other than marriage certificate as evidence of their relationship? Lawyer is not helpful, it looks like he is just complicating the case.

My status changed to AP today too. It was saying refused for 5 weeks due to AP. But now it is actually says refused. Don't know what that means

Administrative Process is a standard status of ongoing cases. It means that a case is being worked on, nothing more...nothing less. It does not mean you will get denied. It does not mean you will get approved. It simply means that the case is not complete and still needs time to be worked no. That is why nobody here nor anywhere else can predict what will happen or when it will happen.
