Embassy contacting beneficiary?

I am referencing the K1 flowchart:

 

 

In #8, it says that the embassy will send forms and checklist to the beneficiary. Is this still accurate? I posted on here earlier this year asking about changing beneficiary mailing address and was told it doesn't matter because they won't be sending anything to them.

I know they use to actually send a packet to the address of a K1 immigrant

now, seems they  send everything via email ID after the 1st paper notice I 791

our notice about the interview came to me, the petitioner and i had to forward it to him

each embassy is a little different but if you provided a good email ID ,  that should suffice  for you to tell the immigrant to go into embassy site and schedule his interview

I would prefer email, it's much easier these days. I just looked at the USCIS website:

https://www.uscis.gov/family/family-of-us-citizens/visas-for-fiancees-of-us-citizens

and it appears the notify me. Perhaps the flowchart is just outdated.

Every country does it different. I would suggest reaching out to the Cambodia portal for information specific to you.

I,  the beneficiary, was never contacted by the embassy in Stockholm, they sent the checklist email to my USC fiancé. He just forwarded it to me.
