My fiance and I have a 27 year age Gap. And his interview they didn't ask him one question about this. January 2021. The counselor was impressed that we had met four times.

That’s really great news. Although my intention was to visit him in Morocco in March, I fear going. We both agreed it’s best not to fly. We have been able to see each other 3 times, and since July 2019, we have well documented conversations. Our visa all is still at the nvc. Our NOA2 was received April 02, 2020. I hope our file will be transferred soon. It’s been a long time.

I appreciate you sharing.

I have always heard that 10 + years is a factor that is taken into consideration. We have a 5 year gap, but as long as you have evidence of time spent together and a legit relationship you should be okay. Just be truthful about anything they ask you.

Thank you for your response. We have always been truthful and plan to continue on this path. We’ve been together since Dec. 2017 and have a daughter together...9 months. Our meetings are well documented with evidence, and our chat and telephone logs span years. Our NOA2 is dated April 02, 2020. I wish there was movement. It’s been rough.

thanks for your response.

I wanted to come back to this post an update everyone.  My fiancé had his interview March 11 and was approved on the spot. He picked up his visa five days later at aramex.  No questions were asked regarding our age difference and it seemed our daughter helped with his immediate approval.

The problem we are facing now is getting the authorization to leave Morocco. It took 441 days from submitting the application to approval.  And now we wait for this letter which we were told might be denied because we are not married. LOL!!

I will look it up.  Thank you so much for the suggestion. If you think of anything other suggestions... please send them my way.
😁

You can buy plenty of bottled water there, and they have big box stores like Marjane and Carrefour so formula shouldn't be a problem, but it looks like your K-1 was approved so congratulations to your little family!!! ☺️

Forgive me if I'm wrong but you are doing the K-1 correct ?  I'm not saying it's going to happen, but be prepared. Pretty much anyone I've known who had an age cap of 10 years or more and did a K1 were denied. Getting married, especially if you have a child and then filing for the CR-1 visa is usually more successful. My husband and I have a 17 year age gap, me being the older one. I was also divorced and had a child from my first marriage. We never applied for a K-1 because I was living in Morocco at the time, so we got married after nearly 2 years of being together. We had no issues. In fact, my husband is about to go to his interview to become a naturalized citizen. Good luck to you and if you need any help or just need to vent, send me a message.

Thanks for this encouragement!
