Hey all,

I need to ship hard copies of some documents as well as a Card, all the items have no inherent value unto themselves besides the Material value they were made of Paper and plastic lol, same value as the packaging it's self.

It will be affidavits, invitations, personal account info and a credit card.

I have searched the internet as well as this forum but I cannot find anything definitive on this exact subject of items, I have read many references to people sending and receiving to and from the PH though so I assume there is experience here.

Can anyone tell me exactly what are the requirements and forms needed to accompany this shipment as well as any customs fee's etc.. or what ever else is needed as I have no clue about any of it.

Thanks

Also, What is the fastest shipping method & carrier (Regardless of cost) with the most accurate tracking all the way to the final destination within the PH?

You might try DHL for shipping, i think u can track through them or fedex but only up to the point it gets to the Phils after that you are SOL.

my wife sent me a package which was duppose to be to me in 15 days which i payed for took over a month from her in the Phils to me in the states.

I recommend DHL as well. They are less expensive than FedEx and I have used them successfully. They will help you with any forms that you need to fill out. DO NOT use USPS. USPS goes through the Philippines postal service which sucks and they will most likely demand more money in order to pick up the package.

Ive mailed documents and credit cards from the US to the Philippines through UPS and FedEx over 15-16 years, never had any issues ever with custom forms, fees, etc etc.  Dont list you have a credit card though on the form just for security purposes.  Just list everything as documents.

DHL is fine as well and tends to be a little cheaper.  They actually partner with LBC and Ive never had issues with LBC either when it was connected to an international shipment.

If you mailing by UPS, their "hub" is way out in Pasig so if your package is going to Manila and nobody is home, it could require a trip to the hub to pick it up, they only make 3 delivery attempts.

I just had two packages with documents sent from Manila to the US and from time of mailing to receiving was 4 days.  That was through LBC/DHL.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Sweet, thanks all. I'll give DHL a shot and see how it goes, hoping for a quick Delivery the items are going to the WV region. Not sure if pick up in a large city would be better than delivery to the rural Province though.

DHL is better on the Philippine side of things than say UPS or Fedex.  They have more locations in more provinces than the other two.

Yeah, part of my problem is that I myself live wwaaayyyyyy out in the mountains / forest at the end of a logging road, no one else around and the nearest small city is 40min one way lol so just getting it out to a main Distro hub here in the US takes a while lol.

Yes, she had docs in hand in Marikina by mid mornings on Monday. So three days to Marikina. When I Fedex the first set of docs to her in Legazpi it took 5 days.

I got a Quote from DHL Express Worldwide they Quoted $104 Discounted to ($75) the quickest I could get was Drop-off City U.S. to Pick-up City PH and the Quoted time frame was 11 Days in total from Facility to facility, yikes, that doesn't seem to quick especially for Drop at Facility to Pick up at Facility. Idk

Back in 2011, I was in hurry and left my credit cards at my house on my way to Philippines.

Had them Fed Ex there and seem to take about a few days, I was in the Davao region if that matters

I have done that as well and it was about 5 days as well from Tagum City
