so, once your case has been forwarded from USCIS to NVC (before covid hit, it would have typically took 1 month for your case to get to NVC).

Then you could call NVC and ask them to update your email addresses and give you a case number to fill out DS160.

After that NVC forwards your application to your consulate to schedule a medical and interview. However, due to COVID, there is a huge huge waitlist for interviews.

For example, in Canada, they are just starting to reschedule k1 interviews that have been canceled in March/April.

If its been 4 weeks, I would give NVC a call to see if your case is there (for your peace of mind), or you can wait if its been less than 4 weeks.

Hope that helps! I am also waiting for case to be forwarded to NVC. And will wait another week before giving them a call.

They do but only if u have an appointment

All visa interviews require appointments.  Are you sure they have resumed processing K1?

I checked the US Embassy site and they stated they have started services for certain visas since July 15.  K-1 is not on the list.  Just IR1/CR1, IR2/CR2, IR3, IR4 and "employment based healthcare professionals".

So have anyone got it yet or anything or had an interview ?

Yes, there are some embassies and people who have an approved K-1 are now proceeding to schedule interview and medical exam appointments. :time: Some embassies are not processing yet. Depends on the status of the country and the return to "business" for the embassy.

Payxiba gave you a link to some exceptionally useful information that is in the PDF on the first page first post of the September NOA2 to Embassy group. Join us there and we can guide you and you will also be with others who are on similar timelines and are working toward the interview.

Once you get the case # are there items we can do online and take care of while waiting for NVC to forward to embassy?

You can start by joining us in the SEPTEMBER 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy.

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/746671-september-2020-k-1-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy/

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Sure you can pay your Visa fee and answer the DS-160. You won't be able to schedule an interview. But at least you can get those two things done.
