My expedite request was approved on 10/10/20 and CEAC showed Ready on 14/10/20. Yet I haven't received any email or notification from the embassy. How much longer do I need to wait? Could this be due to the embassy not resuming routine visa services? Anyone with a similar experience during this pandemic? TIA

The U.S. Embassy in Accra remains unable to resume routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa services at this time. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date.

You have to wait until embassy is open

Same thing in Jamaica. See my time line. Ready on the 13th no contact from embassy and I’m an expedited case as well

What I don't understand is why the embassies are accepting to expedite if they won't hold the interview anytime soon. So frustrating

It sucks and your frustration is understandable. Right now all you can do is to be patient until they resume interviewing again. All the best.

If you prefer you can wait at the back of the line when they reopen.

I'd prefer to have the expedite and wait till they reopen.

In our case (Manila), expedite was approved Sept 3, but the embassy only emailed us on Oct 1- interview schedule Nov. 6.
