Our NOA2 was October 2019 and our CEAC status has been Ready since January 2020. :( We have no idea when they are going to actually process our visa. This process is already slow but covid makes it seem impossible. Will you please update as you get new updates on your case? It'll help us a lot.

My case was updated to ready on may 7th. It says

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.

My question is will I, the US petitioner, get an email for the next instructions or will they send a letter through snail mail to my fiance in Germany? He hasn't completed the ds160 because he is moving soon and I'm changing jobs. Will he receive anything in the mail now or is it just later after he does his interview?

You won't get anything. He'll get the P3 from Frankfurt in the mail when they're really ready for it. The ready update on ceac only means that they've received the file from NVC

Why does the case updated date change 3 times in like one month? Ready 3 times since last month. Does that mean the case is moving slowly? Any ideas? Thanks.

It will update anytime someone is touching your case. What they do and what that means in the end, no idea. Hopefully it means you're getting somewhere.

Am sure most of us have either moved to the states or have visa in hand... Congratulations 🎊
