I have a friend who's not on this forum which I got so much information from this forum for him which really helped; he had his interview last month and it went all fine.

 

He sent me the questions that him and his spouse were asked in order to share on this forum so others can benefit from it just like he did benefited from this forum as well :)

#Opening questions Beneficiary was asked:

 

What is your name?
What is your Date of Birth?
Where do you live?
When did you enter the United State?
What State did you arrive into?
Who were you staying with? 
Did you go to school since you came with a Student Visa?
When did you move to Dallas TX?
Why did you move to Dallas TX?
What is your previous address?

How long did you stay at the address?


#Questions Beneficiary was asked about his step son:


What is your step son’s Name?
Can you spell the full name for me?
What is his date of Birth?
Where was he born?
How old is he?
What school does he go to?
What grade is he in?
Who gets him ready for school?
What is the name of the school he attends?
Do you have any previous marriage?
Do you have any previous children?
Does your wife have any previous marriage?
Does your wife have any previous children?


#Questions petitioner was asked:


What is your husband’s full name?
What is his date of Birth?
What is your previous address?
How long did you stayed at your previous address?
Were you living with anyone at your previous address?
Is there anybody else who stays with you at your current address?
How long have you been living at your current address?
How did you guys meet? Where did you meet?
When did your relationship became official?
Is your husband working?
When was your previous marriage?
What is the name of your previous spouse?
When did you get divorce?
Were you separated from your previous spouse before the divorce?
Did you petition for your previous husband?
When did you enter the United State?
Who filed for you?
What date did you get your Naturalization?
Have you met your husband’s family? Who did you meet in his family?

How did you proposed?
Where was the proposal?
Was there an engagement ring?
When did you get married?
Where did the marriage occurred?
Who was present at the wedding?
Were you married by a Pastor or a Judge? 
Did any of your family attend the wedding?
Where does your wife work?
How long has she been working there?
Do you guys have any children together?

For sure this is a good thing you've done. I notice most of the questions are "who/where/when" questions and not "why do you..." type. That's good.

08/26/2020 - Application Received by USCIS

09/25/2020 - Debit Card charged by USCIS

09/28/2020 - Received I-797C Rejection Notice in the Mail (reason: outdated I-765 form)

09/29/2020 - Received Text Message Receipts (I-485, I-130, I-131)

10/05/2020 - Received Hard Copy Mail Receipts (NOA?) (I-485, I-130, I-131)

10/12/2020 - Sent new I-765 form

10/14/2020 - New version of I-765 received in Chicago

03/10/2021 - Notice of Deficiency (Missing I-693 Medical Form)

06/25/2021 - Receive Biometrics Appointment Letter

07/23/2021 - Biometrics Appointment at Norfolk VA USCIS Office

07/23/2021 - 485 & 765 statuses changed to "Initial Review"

07/29/2021 - Interview Ready to Be Scheduled

08/13/2021 - Interview Scheduled for September 21st

09/21/2021 - Interview at USCIS Norfolk VA

09/21/2021 - Email saying “card produced and mailed”

09/24/2021 - Approval email sent for I-485

09/28/2021 - Green Card mailed by USCIS (email notification)

09/29/2021 - Green Card delivered to mailbox (also email notification)

10/01/2021 - I-765 rejected because “benefits were obtained via other means”

 

13 Months Total, No Lawyer or assistance besides USCIS website and VisaJourney, you can do it too!!!!
