Hello, how are you doing? How is your case going?

Everything from their end is surprising well, I had a mid-Dec interview but my family member got really sick in late Nov, so I ended up having to go travel back home for a couple of months.

I called the 800 number and notified that I need to reschedule my interview. Spoke with first tier person, they recorded the request, asked my return date, and updated my profile. They said someone at the next level will process the request and assign a new date.

Day after my interview I received notice that my interview is being de-scheduled and a new date would be provided.

Hopefully they'll schedule it SOON and AFTER my arrival back.

Was quite bummed about having to delay things, but have my fingers crossed.

How's your case going?

Hello Everyone,

I filed my N-400 on 29Oct2020 Online. Today, on 17Dec2020 I got a notice from USCIS that they are able to reuse my biometrics and fingerprints from my I-751 App. My field office is Kansas City, MO. I saw some of the Sept 2020 filers are already being interviewed or are being scheduled for interviews.

Similar timeline as you but application was 1 month earlier. KC, MO processed things quick in my case. I think it was 1m after the Bio-Reuse letter that they set a date for the appointment.  Best of luck.

That's good to know. Thanks for the info. Was your Field Office Kansas City MO or are you referring to the NBC in Lee's Summit?

My online status now shows "Interview was scheduled" The estimated wait time changed from from Feb2021 to July 2021, then it changed back to Feb2021 and now it changed to sept 2021. I don't think these wait times are accurate. I have not received the notice yet but I am expecting the interview to be sometime in the last week of Jan or first half of Feb.

Filing date Oct 29

Biometric reuse notice: Dec11

Interview was scheduled : Dec 30

My case was submitted on 10/19 and so far I've only received the receipt letter. No word on biometrics or interview.

The estimated completion date is always changing and right now it says July 2021.

Kinda frustrating seeing that one my friends already completed the whole process in 3-4 months when he applied mid 2020, and my other friend applied the same time as me and at least got her biometrics letter a week after filing. We all applied under the basis of military service.

I might call them this week to see if I can get an update.

Naturalization (on basis of military service)

10/2/2020 - Mailed paper application to military specific Chicago Lockbox.

10/19/2020 - Case "received and accepted" according to the online tracker.

10/21/2020 - Text/letter receipt received.

08/11/2021 - Interview scheduled: Sept 14th.

09/14/2021 - Interview + Oath at the Montgomery Office.

I-130 (for my spouse)

09/23/2021 - Filed online.

09/29/2021 - Received receipt letter for I-130.

09/30/2021 - Filed I-129F through the mail.

10/12/2021 - Received receipt letter for I-129F.

12/17/2021 - AR Status change.

01/12/2022 - I-130 Approved.

01/13/2022 - I-129F Denied.

I agree, the way the cases are being worked on seems very random. One of my friend here in Kansas City applied in July and has got nothing but the receipt notice, while I apply two months ago and am already scheduled for Interview. It was probably because my bio were re-used but the disparity in processing times is quite a lot.
