Do you not have passport stamps showing that you were both in Turkey at the same time?  No need to bother with bill translations if you have passport stamps, maybe supported by pictures of you together at touristy places in Turkey.

Turkey is a more difficult embassy to process a visa through. I would suggest that if you are fluent in Turkish and can transpose the hotel receipt that you go ahead and transpose it for your evidence.

11.3 Foreign Language Documents and Translations.

(a) Document Translations .

All documents submitted in support of an application or petition must include complete translation into English. In addition, there must be a certification from the translator indicating that the translation is complete and accurate and attesting to his or her competence as a translator. See 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) .

Just put this statement on it and sign:

CERTIFICATE OF TRANSLATION I, ___________________________, am competent to translate from ________________ into English, and certify that the translation of __________________________________ is true and accurate to the best of my abilities. ______________________________ Signature of Translator

Name of Translator _____________________________ Address of Translator ____________________________ Telephone Number of Translator ____________________________.

IIRC, the OP isn't Turkish or otherwise going through the Turkish embassy; she's Russian, and met her fiancé in Turkey because it's one of the few places open to both Americans and Russians right now.

The whole thing is Turkish? Do you have an email confirmation at all or anything like that that's in English?

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁

yes, we have confimation of booking, but it's just confirmation. We sent not translated bill, because this bill contained some English words in the main places. I think they will understand:)
Anyway it's not only one proof of meeting, we have bill in English from another hotel, certificates, passport stamps etc.

We had a jokes today that they will understand our meeting was this year, cause we were in masks in some pictures ))
