Timeline

If they gave us some sort of deadline or indication of how long we'd be waiting, it wouldn't be so bad. But the fact that we have absolutely no idea how long the waiting will continue makes it that much harder.

03/27/2007: Sent I129f to NSC

07/27/2007: Packet 3

09/20/2007: Successful Interview!!!

09/27/2007: Visa in hand

Hey guys, I feel for you. And I wish there is something we could do to ease the pain. However, no matter how hard it is there is only one thing one can do "WAIT". And everything will be alright. NVC received my case last week; I don't know the exact date and it's on its way to the embassy. God knows how long it will take to get there because according to other filers' timelines it takes forever to get to Haiti. And getting packet 3, Interview date is another story. So, putting everything together I think the waiting game just begins for me. :innocent: .

Hang in there. Hopefully for you guys when it gets to your country everything will go pretty fast.

Sincerely, Ism Wait ( think I just got myself a new lastname: WAIT)

Jesus is coming soon. Be ready.

Dear all March filers what do you think if we can talk about a process after NOA-2 here- I mean our thoughts, feelings, experience  The end of our journey is coming

HI, Well, I filed at the end of March, received the NOA1 on April 10th and now we are in our 91st day of waiting, waiting, waiting. My fiancee lives in Morocco and we are ready to get married. I haven't been touched at all and was wondering why not. If you call the USCIS they don't know anymore than going online and checking the status.

Can anyone give me any input on all this?

WE ARE READYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I will have to avoid this topic for now since I am a March filier and don't even have my NOA2 yet! This topic will just make me jealous to read until I'm at that point. But still, good luck to all the March filers out there that are at this point already...

Don't worry as I am sure you will get NOA-2 net week :) believe me :) I was like you when didn't get NOA-2 when many people with NOA-1 dated as ours got NOA-2 already, but now I am relaxed ... so I am sure you will be with us next week :)

I am in a similar boat as him. I filed mine at the end of March, and I am just waiting for the NOA-2

Same with us. We filed late March but are considered first week of April filers. Not a peep since the papers arrived in CA. Debbie and Hamid

You think this is bad, just wait till the cases are at NVC and then wondering how long we will be stuck in Administrative Review in Washington. There are some post in Regional thread that some are still waiting after 4 months.

Hi Scott:

Your timeline and ours are exactly the same. I hope the hard copy of our NOA2 is in the mail also. My fiance has been out of town so we have to wait until Monday for him to find out if it is. :)

Hopefully it won't take too long for our cases to be delivered to NVC.

Good luck to all of us who are waiting and praying.

Intersting what NVC will bring for us next week? :innocent:

By the way I read in one topic here that you can't check your case status via NVC automated voice system as it never says if they recieve your case. Is it true or not? We still call to NVC everyday and check our status via NVC automates voice systems..

...... Also , to my suprise the embassies do not produce the interview dates the DOS does. You can call them (202-663-1225) to see when your interview is scheduled. Good luck all!!!!

I didn't know about that  So what do you think what is the best time to call them- after NVC send our case to US Consulate or after 3 package?

I129F applications usually go through the NVC rather quickly, and according to others here on VJ, this is the main reason why you must choose the option to speak to an associate (1 for English, then either option 2 or 5) for an update. I have found that this can be very difficult to get through, even after their recommended call times of after 6pm! What I did to stop from getting bumped out of the system due to too many calls waiting on operators was to wait for a voice to start speaking (the automated menu #######)...immediately hit 1, then immediately hit either 2 or 5. One out of three times, after calling in rapid succession, I was able to get put in the queue of callers waiting on an operator without getting kicked out and told to call back later. A 5-10 minute wait on hold, then someone, usually friendly, would answer and ask for receipt number and check their system for mine and Jacki's case.
