Second interview after AP

We’ve been in AP for over a year due to some “misunderstanding”. The embassy sent us an email saying to come for a follow up interview ? What does that even mean? They told my fiancé to bring his iqama and passport and any proof of ongoing relationship between us, but they didn’t ask for updated medical or police clearance.

He was in Saudi and returned to Pakistan and can not go back to Saudi now (according to one of your posts)

So,  what embassy sent him a notice to return for a 2nd interview? How would he get back to Saudi if that embassy sent the notice?

From reading previous posts, the 'misunderstanding' was failure of the OP to disclose beneficiary's prior marriage on the petition.  That is kind of a major omission, plus the country of origin is Pakistan, so.....it's not all that surprising that there was a prolonged AP requiring a second interview.

He left saudi To visit family but due to covid international flights got banned, he’s waiting for them to open so he can return.

I know I stated that in my post  but the embassy set up an interview (and he did not say which embassy )   so he has a date for that

how does he intend to get there?

maybe he needs to change embassies to get this done

Can’t change jurisdiction offices until it is done. He needs to come back or ask for another appointment.

Well they want to discuss something . May be its the evidence and give you visa on spot. Flight are stop to Saudi. If he can reached at time its good if not then better change embassy on time.if its done so in pakistan US embassy need PCC of saudi.
but my question is that if he was in saudi and his passport was in embassy during the process how he make it to pakistan? And if his iqama expire in pakistan then its too much problem.
