It will be all in one letter. The I-797 you receive will be your 18 extension and it’ll have you receipt number on it, also stating the day they received it.

Just one letter. The I-797 NOA will include both info of receiving your case + (18) months extension details . Next letter after that should be biometric appointment / waived letter for it.

Hi everyone.

Just would like to share my status and ask if someone had similar experience.

I sent my I-751 on September 14 2020 and on September 26 2020 I received my I-797 (they literally sent it to me one day after they received my I-751). I was surprised how fast my notice with the 18 months extension was processed.

My process went to Nebraska.

Has anyone had similar timeline?

September 14, 2020 ->  I-751 sent to USCIS

September 26, 2020 -> Notice I-797 with 18 month extension received

I saw that processing times to remove conditions based on marriage can take up to 27 months, which is quite frustrating, but would like to check if someone has more accurate information about this timeline. Thanks

My text receipt number is also  Nebraska. I am two days behind you in the process. I posted mine Sept 16th. Hope that the Nebraska center doesn't take up to 27 months!

Yeah that should be fine as long as they receive it before Oct 2nd. If you can send it express or one day shipping then it should arrived before the 2nd.

You should be fine as long as they receive it before Oct 2nd. They’ll accept it, it’s only from Oct 2nd and after the fees go up.

Oh hopefully they do, otherwise they’ll just return the package to you and you can just resend it with the new fees.
