I just compared  with my GP my immunisation record against the required list and I am missing a bunch of vaccines from the list. I would like to do a few before the medical examination. But I am

not certain if everything on the list is truly required? Specifically, i wonder if the Meningococcal one is mandatory? I recently saw another girl’s immunisation record who got the OK for the interview and that one was missing for her also but didn’t do it. I know that doing the immunisations at the medical exam is very pricy compared to doing it ahead of time. Anyone having a relevant experience with this? (Specifically in Romania?)

only 3 or 4 are needed for an adult unless there is an indication for one otherwise.

Of the adult ones, these are the ones I am missing:
Hep A - I have only one dose - do I need the second one?
Hep B - none (is it ok if I start with the first dose here and continue in the US? - 3 doses required)
Pneumococcal & Meningococcal - I recently saw someone who has finished the process didn’t have these two and they didn’t need to do them at the medical exam - are they not really required?
HiB - it is done only up to 5 years of age so not available for me
MMR - I have the measesle vaccine, Rubella antibodies (tested in pregnancy last year) and I had mumps in childhood - do I still need to do the MMR?
Varicella - I had it when I was a teenager so for sure I have antibodies. Do I do it?
I need to add to my initial post specific details.

If you have a titter for the MMR you are good and show that you had measles and chickenpox or a titter for that.  TDAP may be required based on when your last shot was.  Leave that up to the panel Physician.

You are not required to get any of the others if you are 27 to 49.  (You needed the yellow ones for your age bracket).

A panel physician can waive a vaccine.

If it is flu season come time of the medical and the physician has it at the time of medical - then you get the flu shot.

This link is a tad more accurate, this one is what vaccines are required specifically for immigration by age (some of the yellow ones on there like zoster and HPV are not required for immigration at any age despite being yellow for some ages on the recommended vaccines link you sent)

https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/pdf/Vaccine-Requirements-According-to-Applicant-Age.pdf

Put simply though yes OP only needs MMR (or proof of having had them), varicella (or proof of having had it), and TDAP, plus the flu shot if it's during flu season (October 1-March 31)

A lot of them you don’t need although they are on the list. Email or call Dr. Toma, she will tell you exactly if you need a certain vaccine or not. I was about to take 3 extra vaccines because I didn’t have them, but after calling Dr. Toma she told me they are not required for my age group. Definitely saved myself 1500 lei, the price for all those 3 vaccines.
