  1. I had a lot of evidence, I think my package was around 500 pages. I tried to include a variety of evidence like: affidavit from mother-in-law affidavit from my husband's best friend pictures, lots and lots of pictures bank statements from 3 different joint accounts utility bills rent agreements tax returns filled jointly plane tickets hotel reservations amusement park tickets museum tickets I took a look at the examples USCIS has on their website about what supporting evidence consists of and tried my best to include some evidence from each category. I know plenty of people here say that affidavits are useless, but I included them in both my I-751 and initial I-130 and had great results. In addition I send them any document that had both of our names on it and tried to organize everything in chronological order.
  2. I am filing online and it doesn't say to skip if my parents are not us citizens. I double checked as well.
  3. My parents got married before I was born, but divorced when I was 3 years old. Should I answer the question "Were your parents married before your 18th birthday?" with YES or NO?
  4. My case number started with MSC, so whatever that is. I couldn’t find what specific location it is on the USCIS website. I thought all MSC numbers will get an interview because they’re getting sent to field offices, but I got so lucky to have my interview waived.
  5. Oh, thanks for the info, I had no idea. For right now the last update says “ May 5, 2023 Card Was Mailed To Me“. i will keep checking to see if a tracking number appears.
  6. APPROVED!!! I just got the letter in the mail today that my application to remove conditions was approved. I expected to have an interview, but it was waived. They apparently approved it back on May 2nd, but I didn’t know. They emailed my card on may 5th, so hopefully it arrives soon. I am over the moon and just so grateful that my application moved so fast.
  7. Just got my 48 mo extension letter a couple days ago. I am excited to see some of us are already getting approvals.
  8. I just received a letter with the biometrics appointment for next Tuesday. My case was created just 2 weeks ago so hopefully this is a sign that the process will move fast. My field office is Denver.
  9. Right, I'm in the same boat. I went out of my way to do everything as legal as possible. I could have easily stayed in the US and do AOS from my J1 visa, but instead I returned to my home country and applied for a CR1. I helped a friend with her green card, she lied to the immigration officer when getting a B2 knowing she wanted to marry a US citizen, stay and work illegally in the US. She got her GC without an interview at all. I am very happy for her, but it would be just absurd they interview me for my ROC, but they don't interview people who worked illegally and overstayed their visas for years. I send them over 300 pages of evidence that me and my husband have every aspect of our life connected and joint, so I just find it hard to believe that in less than a couple of days they looked over all that evidence and decided my case is a risk, but you never really know with them.
  10. I also received an MSC number. I wonder if there is any reason they assign a case that will for sure have an interview or if it's just random. The second article says they interview risk cases so now I am wondering if they believe mine is also a risk case.
  11. I just received my extension letter in the mail yesterday, 08/15/2022. I mailed my package on 08/06, it got delivered on 08/08, the text that the case was created was on 08/11/2022. So it took less than 2 weeks from the day I mailed my package to my extension letter. Super happy with USCIS, they really moved fast.
  12. I'm sorry this happened to you. My mom and my sister were also denied last month after a very short interview. I know they keep pushing this idea that the consul doesn't make their decision before the interview, but I really think in a lot of cases they do. Best of luck to your family, it's very difficult being apart from family for so long.
  13. Just received the text that my case was created. The package was delivered on 08/08 and the text on 08/11.
  14. My package got delivered on Monday and the signature of the recipient showed as Louis Montanez, USCIS. I am still waiting on the notification that my case was created. I wonder how long it will take if the Phoenix location is getting so many submissions
  15. I didn't file late, just not as early as I would've liked. I had till the 18th to file. I send a lot of stuff, a total of 300 pages. The payment form, the notification form, I-751 form, a cover letter, copies of my GC. For evidence I send the marriage certificate, bank statements, lease agreements, utility bills, tax returns, ID's that show my husband and I live at the same address, 2 affidavits, pictures, plane tickets, amusement park tickets, mail with both of our names etc. Honestly I did my best to gather as much quality evidence as possible. We are married for almost 3 years so I had a lot of stuff over the years.
  16. Thank you so much for your response. I am nervous because of my job, they did let me know that it expires soon so I was worried about being able to work.
  17. I just send my I-751 on August 6th. Almost completely forgot about it. USPS delivered the package at the Phoenix lockbox on August 8th. Now I am waiting on my extension letter. Super nervous because my GC expires on the 18th so hopefully my extension arrives by then.
