RFE asking for I-944

Hello, Anyone received RFE for updated 485 form and I-944?

(I received one in July.., even though I submitted my documents before 2/24. It is certainly postmarked before 2/24.)

Not sure what to do since I-944 is blocked now. (and it's very difficult for me to complete the form now)

 

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I think a new ruling just unblocked the I-944 for most of the US....the situation is fluid at the moment.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

If your package was postmarked before 02/24 you shouldnt have needed the I-944. What was the exact date you mailed the item?

 

What does the RFE exactly say? Did you include the I-944 in your application even if you did not need to ?

I just got an RFE for my AOS that I filed back in August. They are requiring me to fill out the I-944 now. I am wondering if this means I also have to send in a copy of my I-485 alongside the I-944?

Why do you think so? They ask for the I-944. That's what you send.
