Thanks afterforever!!!!

Im really starting to fade with the optimism.....tonight i feel depressed because this whole thing is out of my hands and i cant do a damn thing about it....Tonight is one of those nights that it is killing me really bad...I would give anything to hear Leidy's voice or her son running around...instead all i here is this silence that seems soooo loud and torturing!!! I'm losing hope! I actually had a long time that i was patient and was taking well as each day passed but after spending the 5 days with Leidy in Panama, this is becoming something too difficult to deal with....But like i said .....i cant do anything about it.. :(

That's why I have not been back to visit my fiance in Thailand, even though I have been tempted very much to do so. The problem is that emotionally it would be extemely hard for me (and her) to leave each again, so I chose to wait until she has her interview before I go back. We both told each other that the next time I come, we will never be apart again, ever.

I wish I could give you more comfort than my words but just keep telling yourself your approval will come soon. Hang in there Byron, not only for yourself but for your fiancee also. Good luck!!

In the same boat and understand the feeling. By the time I go back for my fiancee's interview it will be a year since I last saw her (assuming the interview will be in Feb 08). It's a long and stressful process, but I keep telling myself and to her that in the end it will be well worth it and that it will make our relationship much stronger. Hang in there guys. Soon we will be with our love ones!

I agree! All of these delays at each step we encountered makes this process tougher to deal with, and of course the Holiday season is coming up and we can't be with our love ones. :(

I understand and last night was my night to cry......everyday that goes by I feel more and more frustrated and helpless.....I just got back from Peru last month and I was for sure that he would be coming to me before Christmas......but now I know that that is not going to happen.....so I hope for the new year.....and remember his eyes looking into mine and believe that we can over come this too.......I too am sitting here alone in my house watching TV and trying to keep myself positive......I have many hard times in my life but I am thinking this is the hardest........with the greatest reward....Hang on....Lora

Yup, last year I went to spent Christmas with her. I had told her that next year we'll spend it together in the US. It just pains me to find out now that this won't happen and to make it worst we won't be able to spend it this year together at all. The next time I can go back is when she has her interview. Hopefully it will be a success so we can come back home together.

My only option is to hold on....I dont know what the reason is but tonight has been the hardest since i started this process...Im holding back the tears....the anger....I had a dream of Leidy her son and Idecorating a Christmas tree together..USCIS is making this dream just that a dream....as if losing our baby wasnt hard enough for me when she miscarried....A holiday season without her Would destroy me....I want to go to her so bad but i have taken a big hit to the little i had saved with all my trips to be with her this year.... :(

This has been an emotional roller coaster ride for us all, eh? Financially it can be tough too. I'm in the process of preparing for our new life together when she arrives. I'm about to move into our new home at the beginning of December. I was hoping that she would be here and we can go shopping together to furnish our home. We all know how women loves home decorating. hehe :D But it looks like I will have to wait. I guess I can start out by getting all the misc stuffs. :)

I think a lot of us were counting on the old USCIS timelines to have our SO's here by the holidays.

I am happy though knowing I will be with my fiancee again in January. The best part of all, is that

she will be coming back with me. As hard as it is right now, at least I am starting to see a pin hole of

light at the end of the tunnel.

Your right Byron, we all know this process could have gone faster. We have seen the people who have gotten

approvals in 30 days (must be nice), so we know it is possible. Hang in their everybody because someday this

will be just a bad memory.

I will spend this Christmas alone. No SO, No kids, No parents here. Just me. But thats ok. I know my SO will meet me online for the day and make it special somehow. He always does.

Byron, Im feeling you. I"d say hang in there, but thats har to do when you are at the point of your heart melting. I certainly understand, for all of us, how hard this time of year is. Im just thankful to have found the love of my life. Im thankful that even though we are apart at this time, we know we have the opportunity to close this distance. Im thankful for all of you here...the support, the HERSHEY KISSES!!! Im thankful that Vermont is responding a bit and we see some movement.

I know its hard to find things to be thankful for when we so want our loved ones here..but dig deep...what are YOU thankful for?
