if you have to be, at least it will be the last :)

there's no way your SO could come here?

(mine was supposed to be - a great little bonus from a work trip to Alexandria, the weekend before Christmas; we had all these plans - and they just changed the dates of the work trip, to January or February, so there goes our little weekend :( )

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Yes, Bill. This is what I'm talking about; it's shocking, really.

That's why I keep pushing so hard for some action because there are NO guarantees for anyone here.

I mean, I understand that you can't plan a wedding AND you might even end up having your first child, BEFORE USCIS and DOS decide to make it possible for you to be reunited with your SO.....but what really burns me is when they play these little games-->political muscle flexing with little or no regard to the effect that this has on the lives of their customers. Now, they got what they wanted-->GET OUR DAM* PETITIONS PROCESSED!!!!!

The H-1B Visa people were marching in Washington last week. You know where I'm going with this........................

Like I said in some other thread somewhere...the only thing consistently coming out of USCIS are the lame excuses for what the delays at the service centers are and how they are 'trying' to remedy the situation....whatever.

This has reached a level that is beyond unacceptable.

How long do they expect us to wait? And like I have said time and time again, how hard can it honestly be to adjudicate a petition. I mean it is just a series of checks: filing fee (check), I-129F filled and signed (check), G-325A for petitioner and beneficiary signed and dated (check), proof of US citizenship for petitioner (check)......you see where I am going with this?

If we, as the general public, can full out the forms, gather our documents and submit them, a lot of us WITHOUT the help of a lawyer or some other immigration specialist, I find it really hard for them to justify talking this long approving petitions. This is not rocket science.

I am all up for a march....or anything else.

This is ridiculous.

I am up for anything too, march, etc. Everyday I lose more faith in this governement and this has really pushed me over the edge. I really feel like they should have higher standards for the Visa office then they do for Motor vehicles!!!!!

I was kind of hoping for Christmas too, but I've sort of lost hope in that. It just doesn't seem like it's going to happen. But God willing I'll be surprised. My daughter is already making plans for Christmas with Bassi, so I've been telling her maybe he'll be here in the spring. I don't want her to be as disappointed. I really don't like how stressful this process is!

I really don't know ####### is wrong with VSC! I can't plan anything. Since we've send all the papers I finished my Masters, moved from Germany back to Croatia and now I'm stuck in waiting process! It doesn't make any sense to apply for jobs here or to start to do anything. My life is on stand by and I feel like I'm wasting the days God gave me! But I guess they don't care!

The biggest award should go to the people who invented web cams and msn so at least I can see my honey every day.

I think that there are A LOT more CSC filers on VJ than there are VSC. So the odds are in their favor to list more approvals on the site. That doesn't mean people aren't being approved from VSC that aren't on VJ. That's what I'm hoping for. So, soon we'll hear good news too! :innocent:

Thank you for putting it BACK into perspective. I keep saying that...but still...

You are right...there are 4 times CSC'ers to VSC'ers. That means we should have at least 25% of the approvalls...which we DONT. I just want him here....Im such a baby today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying: :crying: :crying:
