Good morning everyone and thank you in advanced.  I was wondering if you guys know if the main USCIS office is still open or closed due to the COVID-19 so that i can send my K1 visa file and it can begin the process of it. The last update they had on line was that it was still closed and they will advice when they will reopen but it there is no additional information. Does anybody know.? I would hate to send my file and sit on a desk for a while and later the info there expires and have to re- do it again. Thank you very much for your help

USCIS offices are not closed. They might be closed for in-person appointments, interviews, biometrics, etc., but they’re certainly processing applications so you should send in your I-129f ASAP.

You need to differentiate between local offices and service centers.  The only thing that was ever closed were public facing services at both local field offices and local application support centers.  An i129f petition is submitted to a service center which has always remained open

You don't need to concern yourself with local field offices or application support centers until after your marriage and you adjust status

YMMV

You need to submit now....because while you holding on to your application other are submitting and getting approved
