My earliest filing window opens on June 27th, I think. GC was approved on 25th September, 2017. can I start the application process now and keep it saved as I keep uploading the documents and on the day of 27th June, all I have to do is to check the application in full and hit the submit button?

Becareful with uploading docs as you go. There are complaints on April?/May? 2020 Fliers thread that uploaded documents did not save properly in USCIS website and they were missing in the final submission. They recommended uploading all the documents in one time when you are ready to submit. Also something about using internet explorer may help with the issue. Please look it up.

Answer to this question should be No, right?

Have you called yourself a "non-U.S. resident" on a federal, state, or local tax return since you became a lawful permanent resident?

What is your USCIS Online Account Number?

You can find your USCIS Online Account Number by signing in to your account and going to your profile page.

From my understanding if you haven't filed anything online before you will not have one. I did not put one. Once I applied, a new online account number was on my NOA.

Hello everyone. I'm helping my husband fill out his n-400 application. He came to the US when he was 22 and overstayed his visa and his his i-751 got approved last week so his window to apply for n-400 opens up towards the end of his month. He's 34 years old and has never registered for selective service. I  ran across the selective service question and got stuck. They're asking for a status information letter from the sss.gov. Does he need to register, even though he's over 31 y.o.?

n-400 Timeline (husband) filed under 3 year marriage rule

(day 1) Submitted application & payment online (online ETA October 2021) 10/23/2020

(day 5) Text update that NOA was mailed 10/28/2020

(day 113) Biometric reuse letter mailed 2/12/2021

(day 279) Text saying there is an update to our cases, interview scheduled for August 26, 2021 7/29/2021

(day 322) Oath ceremony will be scheduled 9/10/2021

(day 327) Oath ceremony scheduled for Oct 1st 9/14/2021

(day 343) Oath ceremony complete & certificate received! Applied for US passport same day. 10/1/2021

Yes. I had a speeding ticket as well. did some research in the forum, and yes, we are expected to report it and add an explanation.

After posting it here, I also did some research. Specifically we have to show that the ticket was paid. You can get the record from the county clerk's office (online available). In my case, I wasn't even Speeding but it was night time in Iowa and I didn't want to get shot by the officer for arguing about it. citation says 1-5 above the speed limit. My colleagues at work said not to contest it because they will side with the police officer, I wasn't happy about this ticket then, and I am not now because now I have to explain this one more time during the N400 interview :(
