So i have a question my mom interview was scheduled for 24th March and due to the virus our embassy was closed down and now trumps ban on immigrants is in so will it affect my moms interview.... That is she part of those being affected since her interview had already been scheduled

We don't know for sure - but if the EO  is still in place when the consulates open, expect that her IR5 to be held.

So my dad got accepted May 13th, i went to the website and this time i checked under document and i see there I-130 Approval with the document. On top of his case name says case closed. Today i was double checking and i see in my mom's status to Approved her petition and application but under document is not updated yet. It's funny because my dad got his documents updated with the notice and my mom got her status approved but not the document yet. I'm very happy.

Man keep it updated.

I got my IR5 visa approved but could not travel due to Covid. And my Visa has expired. Whether or not I will get my immigrant Visa IR5 reissued once the consulates open is a big question .Pleaze let me be informed as I am only one left in my country to go to US.

My mom 's approval is only as a status, no notice yet. for my dad, nvc send me an email that has arrived there. i dont know what to do now, any suggestion?

Have you checked your USCIS account document tab? It should be there.

I submitted on January 08,2020 - Nebraska Service Center for my mom and dad.

My mom got approved on May 18,2020 and was able to get the approval letter online. I also got the email from NVC the same day they approved my mom.

Still waiting for dad's approval...

Have you got the approval for Dad by now ? If not yet , will you be submitting info/docs to NVC right away for your Mom  or  otherwise wait for your Mother's approval and then submit info/docs for both together ?  How to ensure that the Interview for both parents is done on the same day .

Not yet. I will be waiting for father's approval because everything is on hold anyway since embassies are closed.

I'm also curious what's the best approach to combine father and mother IV applications in NVC stage, I read that contacting NVC after father's approval can get it combined, but if others can provide advise on how exactly to do it and their experiences, it would be highly appreciated.

this is what i’m about to ask as well. Still waiting for dad’s approval. Mom’s approved already. I believe we have 1 year to respond back to NVC before they terminate the application.
