Hey guys! So the lockbox received my petition on Wednesday.  I'm wondering how long does it take for the payment of $535 to be taken out? Thanks!

14 to 30 days on average

YMMV

How did you pay?  If by CC they hit the card a day or two after receipt (your G-1450 better be the first page)

Checks are ACH'd (electronic processed) and should show up fairly quickly.  A few days tops.

15 or 30 days?  I don't think that's right.

You should see the check clear in about 3 days.  5 at the most.  Paper checks are not mailed around like in the old days.  Scan the image, read the magnetic account numbers, ACH the account.

Most processes take time. Much more time then you think they should. Its a natural reaction. Comparing yourself to others will do nothing for your case. In this whole process there is NOTHING to be worried about Except if  you are denied and your file is sent back to USCIS to die. MOST are do not get denied. So to begin worrying about something this early in the process will only cause you many sleepless nights and may lead to an alcohol addiction. So smile and go about your daily routine. Good luck.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
