When you complete the interview, and hopefully pass, you then move on to AP, AP can take an indeterminate time, and tends to be longer for Consulates like Pakistan.

I have a question .. Pakistan Embassy really reviews docs on Ceac? Do they even know that we have uploaded there?

I do not know how the system works, but there must be a notification when documents awaited are uploaded.

Administrative processing is a black hole and it may take longer than 180 days. Follows up to check on the status of administrative processing once a month with consulate.

As of March 2020, the State Department has updated CEAC so that while administrative processing is pending the status will show as “Refused.”

They didn’t congratulate us. Asked for few documents. We have uploaded on Ceac website. Still waiting from Embassy to review them and send us the visa. They kept the passport. They told us same thing, send us docs, we will send you visa. But I think your case is different. Because they congratulated you. What category is yours?

because they don't drop everything else they are doing when you submit... you submit into their queue of documents to look at/other tasks.

No

in front of other people who submitted for review before you? No.

the "fastest" way is to give them everything they want at the interview, but sometimes they ask for things you didn't expect. Just the way it goes. If it's any consolation, the fact that they are not doing face to face interviews at the moment probably means they have more time to review documents.

Currently there is a global pandemic taking place.  Immigration services are of low priority.

Hey, if embassy sends you email to upload documents on CEAC but doesnt say where or which tab to upload on. Should documents be uploaded on AOS financial documents( add additional Document tab ) or under Civil documents ( add additional Document tab). ??
