Hi,

I have a question regarding the B2 Visa. Can my sister or my mom able to apply for a Tourist/B2 Visa without having worked in the Philippines, which I know that's one of the requirements of applying a visa. I just want her or them to visit/help me here in US while my husband is deployed. I'm still a permanent resident and still processing my citizenship or do I need to wait to be a citizen first.
What's the best move for me to do. Hope someone could help me. Thank you Godbless

I know of no requirement to have worked to get a B2.  Your sister and mother can certainly apply for a tourist visa, but they will have to demonstrate strong ties to their country.  There is nothing you, personally, can do to increase their ability to obtain a B2.

Strong ties to the Philippines is the requirement, not working.

Your status has nothing to do with your mom & sister getting a tourist visa.  They apply and will be evaluated on their merit solely.

Believe it or not, your mom may stand a better chance of getting a tourist visa than your sister ...   (just saying this from what I have seen of who gets approved)

The reason on why i want my sister to apply tourist with my mom it's because i know she's not old to fly but she's scared to flight alone by herself.  She's not used to travel specially it would be her first time to do long flight hours. I just want her to accompany my mom

I do understand.   I was just making comment that I see more "moms" getting approved that younger Filipinas.
