Aasalam O Alaikum everyone! I am Green Holder! My Husband had interview on August 1st, 2019 at Islamabad, Interview went well, they kept the Passport but asked for few documents like Domicile,Pics and Tax Return. Told us to upload on Ceac Website, and we uploaded on August 5th 2019! it’s Been 6 months, showing “Administrative Processing”. We had two “Case Last Updated”| Oct 7th 2019 and 11 Feb 2020| anyone know how long it will take? Or how can we contact the embassy? Please kindly help?

No one knows how long AP can take. It can take days, months, years, etc. it is up to the consulate and any checks they require on their regional applicants. You just need to wait. All APs are unique to the case.

Usually when they ask for a new medical they are intending on finishing the process and issue the visa.  It is a good thing they want the medical.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Does ceac show the documents accepted?   Based on the consulate asking for the documents, they will review it.   Their email is on the NIV webpage for ISL.

What are domicile papers? What you guys actually submit in this regard ??

Things that show ties to the US and the intent to move to the US as I was living abroad for a longer period

can be many things like bank accounts, lease, drivers licence, voting records, employment letter etc

it is for the petitioner

They asked for my domicile as well, i provided my employment letter, recent bank statements, lease agreement, just to show them that the petitioner is currently residing in US.
after reviewing those , they asked for a new joint sponsor 😕 just delaying the case
