I will do that now but I have a strong feeling that I will be told the same thing you were told when your dates appeared weird just a few days ago. Fully expecting a “just wait a few days” kind of response.

I am hoping this will be resolved very soon! The approval is the most important part, I think it’s just the system now waiting to catch up. Hang in there!!

It was my understanding that it would continue as normal.

No no. Your case gets processed as normal. The status just looks a little weird. Your status will likely remain as “expedite was denied” but processing continues.

But they said your expedite was approved?

Expedite approved is not the same as case approved. It only means that they approve you to jump the line so that your case gets reviewed sooner.

It says so in the status update email for expedite approved. They still have to look at it and can approve or deny your case under the expedite. If it gets denied then your case gets back in line where it was before.

Yes expedite request was approved on May 15. It appears that they are actively working my case now.

Its just strange they asked for evidence again. Maybe it will get sent to a new officer that works a little quicker.

Even stranger - it appears they asked for evidence again. I never resent it, then it was changed to ‘additional info received’. So weird.

Probably because you faxed the stuff again and that's just the wording they use

I think mine took a couple of days. I also called the office a couple of times to move things along.

UPDATE:

RFEs for the kids and my AOS. No idea what it could be.

was not expecting this at all, as I have only expedited my EAD
