withdrawal of I-129F Fiance visa application

Hello,
I am a beneficiary of. I-129 F Fiance visa app. Due to some unpleasant  revelation from the petitioner 
I decided to withdraw my application. What should I do.

You can just let it expire without taking any actions. Or  you can email your consulate.

Thanks for the reply. Since my second 10-year visa has been revoked because I wanted to visit him while he was detained, I now fear that the petition is likely to be used by him in court for a lesser sentence. I'm afraid this may be causing me problems. It Is For this reason that I would like to withdraw my consent now. Do I have to send a notification to the appropriate services or the Embassy only?

You can notify USCIS also.......but if you do nothing, the petition will expire on its own....Just remember that your decision cannot be changed.

Clarification:  Once a petition is withdrawn/refused, the decision cannot be changed......a new petition would have to be filed.

you can’t change that even with the withdrawal and it highly unlikely his criminal case will cause any problem to you.

If it’s at the USCIS, you cannot withdraw it. If it’s already at the embassy, you can possibly withdraw it or just let it expire.

Extremely unlikely. Courts rarely consider the criminal’s minor children, elderly parents or disabled spouse when setting a sentence. So it’s extremely unlikely the fact that he has a girlfriend, you are not even his wife, in another country is unlikely to make any difference at all. Most judges are elected by the people. They won’t be re-elected if they are lenient on the sentences because of overseas love interests.

The beneficiary cannot withdraw or cancel the petition. The petition is solely the petitioner's document.

If it's at the consulate, you can inform the consulate that you do not want to proceed with the visa. They will let it sit to expire or send it back to sit and expire.
