"I think there are a couple of players who could play in the NBA right now, honestly," Bryant said. "There's a lot of players with a lot of skill that could do it. Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Elena Delle Donne. There's a lot of great players out there, so they could certainly keep up with them."

If you buy into the ethos of the Mamba Mentality that Bryant has tried to cultivate for himself in the latter half of his playing career and retirement, it would make sense that he would name these three players. Taurasi is the WNBA's all-time leading scorer, the 2009 WNBA MVP, a nine-time All Star and a three-time champion. Moore was the league's MVP in 2014, has won four titles and been an All Star six times. Delle Donne became the first-ever WNBA player to join the 50-40-90 club, is a six-time All Star, and a two-time MVP, the second of which came this past season where she won the first WNBA title of her career with the Washington Mystics--their first championship in franchise history. These players are all winners and statistical leaders in the sport, two traits that Bryant has had a well-documented obsession with.

I don't watch the WNBA, and definitely do not watch the NBA, but I do watch women's NCAA basketball on occasion (U. of Louisville of course) along with the men's games.

They can actually be very entertaining, but a different game from the men.  I may be a bit biased as I had a daughter that played basketball in high school and I went to all of her games.

My goddaughter was big into sports in her HS days.  Vball, Bball, and Sball.  It was a lot of fun watching those games, the girls playing can be extremely competitive.  As to Bball in general, I have not watched any league in quite sometime.

Until woke culture, women's football (soccer) and hockey were growing. Now with all the incessant whining, and the political inanity, it's turned so many people off, now they're plummeting. If these "professionals" cared at all about their sports, rather than their ego's and irrelevant immediate political gratification, they'd have been positive ambassadors.

Hi! Do you have anything you can link to that shows this? Everything I've read on this over the past couple of years shows interest in playing and watching women's sports is growing. I mean, like are there actual statistics?

Why is it that every guy I know who goes/has gone to a stag do says they do not enjoy going to strip clubs, and yet they still go because "that's where [so and so] is holding the party <shrug>"? Alex said he 100% only went out of support for the groom when he went to one in October, and that when he lived in London he only went when he was a lot younger, and all the guys in the office were going and he had to go because... work reasons.

I've never been one that wanted to go to a strip club, but my wife "made me" go to a strip club in Key West.  It was her idea.  Really.

Of course she went too...to supervise?

And then there was that time we had some friends down and she insisted we all go to the drag show.  Actually it was couple of times.  And to the strip club with friends too.

Maybe my wife has a wild side.

I've been to a few drag shows, and only once to a strip club, a long time ago in college. A bunch of us went, all female, because we were curious. We just ended up getting very messy and having some enlightening conversations with the women who were performing. Not something I would do, personally, but in a club like that that was relatively upscale, I could understand why a person might.

When she was in college (and afterwards for quite a while), my sister used to regularly beg for handouts from my parents, claiming that it was the only thing keeping her off the pole. It worked, so I will give her that.

Interestingly enough many of the women working at the clubs in Key West were Eastern European.

Red Garter Saloon on Duval Street.

Sign in the door says "Husband Daycare".  Something about "drop him off here and we will take care of him..."
