Yes. One envelope is fine

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Then go to work and forget about your GC because it'll take roughly 1.5 years

That is grossly generalizing. The GC is anywhere from a few months to the time you said (or MORE). Depending how busy the local office is where he/she belongs....

But she already said she’s in Tacoma, WA and those of us with experience of the Seattle office know that it will very likely take this long in this case. She doesn’t need to know average times for the whole country. She wants specific information concerning the Seattle office.

Seattle USCIS is taking upwards of two years for family-based GC interviews.

Nobody was talking about Seattle in that comment I quoted initially. Sorry to hear that it takes that long

The info about Seattle AOS is relevant because the OP lives in that jurisdiction.

My husband’s combo card took 4.5 months....although those are processed nationally.

We are at nearly 14 months of waiting for a green card interview through the Seattle USCIS field office.

Like I said, those are processed nationally.  Nationwide processing times are 5-7 months per USCIS.
