Do I need to get a Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) if I have a Canadian passport and am a permanent resident of the US? I travel to Canada in a week and not sure if it's required to have a ETA.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You don't need an ETA to enter your own country if you're a Canadian citizen with a Canadian passport.

To enter Canada from the US - use your Canadian passport

To re-enter the US from Canada - use your Canadian Passport AND greencard (or stamp or gc w/ ext letter).

Canadian citizens and US citizens are not required to obtain ETA when traveling to Canada or US, despite of whatever immigration status they have in any other country.
