Adam Schiff is insane and should be institutionalized.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You can tell the difference between the rational left and the deranged left (using a TDS/impeachment theme but branching out to other things), even my right wing friends who simply think they're all the same, I think you can spot it:

The left in general:

- Socialism

- Pro choice or pro-abortion

- High taxes

- Universal healthcare

- etc.

Deranged left:

- Suddenly make arguments they never bothered with before this past decade:

1) Free market! (to justify censorship, coercive behavior, but not actually a free market)

2) Free trade! (to justify getting rid of the jobs they don't like, such as coal, oil, etc., also not free trade, a similar caricature to free market)

3) Use of government surveillance, good! (very much anti-Assange)

4) Use of government authority against political opponents, good!

5) Free speech, bad

6) Everything Trump agrees with, bad, everything Trump disagrees with, good!

7) Impeach Trump! Who cares if it's a lie, I want my way.

8 ) Fav politicians: Hillary, Warren, Biden, suddenly listens to Kristol, Frum, Corn, and other neoliberals and neocons

9) Fav media/personalities: Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Stelter, Joy Reid, Lemon, Tur, etc. (and this type of media person)

Rational left:

1) Leftist views suppress "free market" caricature

2) Leftist views suppress "free trade" caricature.. often anti-globalist or restricted globalism like Naomi Klein

3) Use of government surveillance, bad! (very much pro-Assange)

4) Use of government against political opponents, bad!

5) Free speech, good!

6) Trump doing things that go against my views, bad, Trump doing things that don't go against my beliefs, good. (ignores/criticizes the TDS stuff)

7) Don't impeach Trump about the issues cited, this is garbage, he's done other things I believe that warrants impeachment, none of these cited things are it.

8 ) believes catering to TDS distracts from actual leftist debate, gets mad at all the time wasted on it

9) Fav politicians: Less perceptibly "corrupt" liberals/lefties: Tulsi, Bernie, AOC

10) Fav media/personalities: Glenn, Michael Tracey, Taibbi, etc.

Lots more clear distinctions but this is just a primer. These differences are getting more noticeably higher as primary season heats up along with the vitriol.

I also want to point out that this likely kills any Senate based investigation into Hunter/Burisma/Joe.

They didn't want to investigate one of their own anyways. Hits too close to home.

It does make the distinction fairly obvious at this point between "deliberative body" and "corrupt body".

Thankfully, in politics, there's plenty of distractions to make people forget all about this issue. The only ways it gets taken up at this point is if there's a resurrection of partisan impeachment (and makes it to the Senate), beyond that, it's either a GOP led House (also quite unlikely), or Trump led bureaus (also unlikely, as the Senate would have to confirm a Trumpian cabinet leader and they won't).

Heck, with Iowa and other items, most media is giving impeachment very little coverage.  All will be forgotten in a few days.  I do wonder if Trump will say anything tonight about it?  His press secretary says no, but he sometimes goes off script.  Personally, I think he will have a great speech and let sleeping dogs lie.
