After being here since April and being able to work since September, im finally having some success looking for employment. Months passed and no interviews, only a few rejection letters.

Over the past week its been different. On friday i had interviews with a staffing agency as a recruiter, an interview with walgreens as a photo technician and an interview with K-mart.

Today K-mart called and offered me a second interview. The position will be assistant manager in training, obviously having to learn all the ropes first.

Im so excited that my persistance seems to be finally paying off and now i may just be able to live life.

To those who are looking for employment, never give up, keep trying as eventually an opportunity will come your way.

Now im off to study up on K-mart, or mini sears (lol).

Good luck to you.

I'm still looking here. I either get the interviews or never hear anything but I won't give up. You know the saying, "Always the bridesmaid, never the bride?" for me I always say, "Always the interviewee, never the employee." Ok I admit that's dumb.

One of the temp agencies from Boise is hitting our local labour/employee office this Thursday so I'll be going with resume in hand.

Good luck with your second interview.

I also have been looking for employment since September.

I went for an interview last Wednesday and they phoned me on

Friday too say the job was mine if I still wanted it.

I am so happy to have a job at long last and in the field of work I was wanting.

Cheers,

Suzanne :)

WOOHOOOO !!!!!

Finally i can live again.

They offered me a position, but they are not sure where to put me lol. (manager had hard time with my accent lol). It looks likely that ill be working in the gas station to learn the ropes, and will go through management training in 6 months time (i have that in writing).

Big sigh of relief...after 7 months of constant searching, i can now get into the big bad world, and start to make a life for myself in the states.

Again thnx for the good luck mojo n good luck to everyone seeking a position...keep trying it will HAPPEN
