Possibilities of traveling using advance parole card while the green card is being corrected.

So basically I’m just curious what could happen if I use my advance parole card while I’m waiting for the USCIS to correct my green card.  I’m just curious since trying to make an info pass appointment is ridiculous.  It’s been more than 48 hours and I’m still waiting for a callback.  Called USCIS 2 times already this day.

Can you clarify a bit- was your green card issued and the name was wrong?!

Our K1 Journey    I-129f

Service Center : Texas Service Center   Transferred? California Service Center on 8/11/14

Consulate : Port au Prince, Haiti             I-129F Sent : 4/14/2014

I-129F NOA1 : 4/24/14                            I-129F NOA2 : 9/10/14

NVC Received : 9/24/14                          NVC Left : 9/26/14

Consulate Received : 10/6/14 CEAC status changed to ready

Packet 3 Received : 10/27/14 packet received by petitioner in USA ( beneficiary never received packet 3)

Medical: 10/30/14 Dr. Buteau                  Medical picked up: 11/3/14

Packet 3 Sent : 11/10/13.. Had to schedule interview appointment and attach confirmation receipt to packet

Interview Date : 12/1/14                           Interview Result : Approved !

Visa Received : 12/10/14 picked up at Jacmel location

US Entry : 12/15/14 Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Apply for Social Security Card: 12/30/14 Connecticut

Marriage: 1/26/15

If you are inside the United States, you can no longer schedule an appointment online using InfoPass for domestic offices. However, you can check your case status, see our case processing times, change your address, and use other tools on our website.

Yes it was issued and the “resident since” date was wrong so I sent it back to get it corrected. Not knowing that trying to schedule an I-551 is convoluted.  I have an international flight this coming 29th. I got my I-90 receipt number Wednesday the 23rd. I called right away to schedule an infopass not knowing that the person who answers your call is not the person that would make an appointment, they are the only one who would put a request for me to get a callback to make an appointment, callback time is between 48 to 72 hours.
