After 19 months in AP (going on 20 in a week) I just got an email from the embassy requesting my husband to come to take an oath and fingerprinting sceduled for late next month. Its been over 20 months since we did his last medical so shouldnt we need to do another one??? They didnt even request us to redo the ds260, tho I already updated that a while back but they should still ask for the confirmation. Should I reach out and ask them if they need all this stuff or do ot anyway and have him take it with him?

They will instruct him when he comes. Never do anything until they tell you. Just wait.
