IR5 approved. Fees confirmation now

Hello all,

 

My IR5 petition just approved yesterday. I would like to save some money for additional fees that will come up. So...is that correct that I have to pay $325 for Immediate relative and family preference applications (processed on the basis of an approved I-130 and $120 for the visa? I am not sure about this since I only have information for IR1. 

 

Anyone who can help will be greatly appreciated!

what if you petition your father and mother at the same time, do you have to pay the fees per petition like one for your mother and one for your father?

I believe you pay only one AOS fee, the rest are to be paid for each individual.

thank you for the response. I’m a little bit confused on the process as I was reading the infos. Usually, when do you pay for their green card? Is it before they leave the country or when they come here in the US?

GC fee can be paid before or after leaving the country. Paying before heading to US makes the GC delivery much faster.

Thank you for the response. So its only 1 greencard payment for mother and father right? How about for the I-864, do we have to submit two of those?

GC fee must be paid for each application after successful interview 

At NVC, they waive one of the AOS payments when 2 family members are applying.... as is occurring for you

Can I submit only a copy of the US Passport when petitioning parents? or it has to be with the naturalization certificate?

When you reach the NVC stage, they will ask you to upload the proof of citizenship. I believe you can upload either one. I upload both in separate file just to make sure I upload everything. Those files get accepted.
