Can my fiancée do her medical exam and interview in the same week?

I’m a bit confused on what we need to do because we are getting conflicting information. Our case is READY (in Manila).

Does she need to schedule an appointment at St. Luke’s for medical exam?  We’ve been told she doesn’t and  it’s “first come first serve”. The website states she will make an appointment with St. Luke’s and she should set the interview 2 weeks later.

We’re short on time because she’s pregnant so any advice would be good!

SLEC is walk in ONLY.    It is a two day affair.  You can do medical and interview in same week.  Just make sure you schedule the interview at the embassy allowing sufficient time between

Medical on Monday/Tuesday,  interview on Thursday or Friday works

You can complete the medical and interview within the same week with just minimal planning.   Just make sure to allow 24 hrs between day 2 of the medical and the date of the interview at the embassy.

Medicals at St. Luke's (SLEC) are walk-in, no appt.   Do make sure to complete the pre-registration online, this will save you time the first morning.     No need to show up at O'Dark-thirty either, arrive a hour or two after SLEC opens and your fiancee can easily complete day 1 without issue ... this will also be easier on your fiancee being she is pregnant and prolonged standing would not be fun.

Here is a link to a guide for the visa process in the Philippines:  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html   <   Your CEAC status is READY .. it is ROCK n ROLL time!!!!

You should ask your questions in the Philippines forum, you would get better answers relating to the process there:  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

We did.  Twice.  LOL  Medical Monday and Tuesday.  Interview on Thursday...did I mention twice!  That is a common way to do it in the Philippines.

A lot of people do it that way. We did not because we weren't sure of any reactions to the immunizations she was going to receive. Also do not forget to schedule the CFO seminar if you are trying to do everything in the same week.

We just got it all done in the same week. Medical Monday and Tuesday, Interview Thursday and CFO Friday.

Hank's advice on not arriving for the medical before dawn is sound, She went on Monday at 8am and was done with the first day by 11am. 2nd day she arrived at 8am and was out the door with the paperwork by 10:30am.

Echoing previous comments, I just got back from Manila 2 weeks ago.

Medical Monday/Tuesday. We arrived at 10 on Monday, and were back at the hotel by 1:30. Day 2 we arrived back at 10, and were done by 11:45.

Interview Thursday, just in case medical didn't go smoothly.

Still waiting for her passport to be delivered back...but all went well!
