Proof of correspondence

Hi,

I am trying to gather proof of correspondence for the I-129F. We mainly use WhatsApp to communicate with each other. I have months of measages and call logs. The problem I am having is I am trying to figure out how print them. It's more of a technical issue than anything. Can anyone recommend any apps of computer programs which can assist me?

Thank you

What is proof of correspondence and is it a requirement for the petition ?

YMMV

if you look around this forum a bit you will see that people discourage frontloading your application with such information as call logs and messages in most cases. i can't speak to that as i have no idea what the pros and cons are. but i can tell you that we frontloaded too (hadn't found vj yet and had no idea that that was what we were doing) and since we communicate via whatsapp we had the same difficulty. in whatsapp you can only extract the messages of a conversation, and we didn't want to send those as they were personal. instead we took screenshots of my fiance's call log as he only uses whatsapp to communicate with me so no calls to other people were in there. we sent a sampling over time, maybe five screenshots total of random times over the course of our relationship.

Unless your fiance(e) is from a high fraud/high security risk country, including chat logs with the petition really isn't necessary.

Having said that, we did include some; if you want to, it's probably easiest to just take screen shots and put them together a few to a page in a Word document.

Thanks for the replies.

I hired a law firm and part of the contractual agreement is that I follow their instructions. They will screen everything that I'm sending before forwarding it to immigration and if they believe the information is too much then they won't use it.

I'm going to try to print out the screen shots in color on a Word document and see how that comes out. The responses are much appreciated. Thank you.
