Paranoid about leaving US for 5 weeks 3rd time this year with a Green Card

Hello,

I've been a PR for over 5 years now and currently waiting for my N400 to be completed. I want to travel to Europe for 5 weeks but I'm really freaking about having issues entering US on my way back. I already traveled 2 times in the last 12 months (2 trips of 2 months each). I never had any issues at the border but I'm still super paranoid.

I'm self employed here in US and have an LLC, 2 banks accounts, driver license and health insurance so I can easily prove that I live and work in US.

Is there any chance that I could be denied entry after a 5 weeks trip? Did it happen to anyone or I'm just paranoid for no reason.

Thank you everyone!

My ex traveled to Brazil 3 times (each time for 3 weeks), to Europe once between 2008-2010 and still naturalized with no problems in early 2011.   It might all depend on the officer that interviews you for your naturalization.

Thanks for the reply, good to hear that your ex didn't have any problems.

I'm actually not worried about my naturalization interview as I'm paranoid about returning back to US and having issues at the border.

as long as you are not out for more than  months in a given year you are good.

Also its not a hard and fast rule. A reasonable explanation like family death/asset setting etc is completely acceptable

You have a green card. They have to let you in. if they wanna make u go back they need an order from a federal judge and that ain't happening overnight.

Thank you. This makes me feel much better. I had no idea they need an order from a judge in order to not let you in the country.

Only USCs are guaranteed entry.

But from a practical standpoint, they won't deny an LPR except in circumstances of clear inadmissibility (even then being referred to an IJ) or national security purposes.
