Depends on how quickly you upload the required documents to NVC

YMMV

Noooo, they just assigned our paperwork to someone. I was just wondering how long it takes to get from Nebraska to NVC. And then once you pay all fees, how long that takes. I wish you guys would here something...it's just ridiculous.

Once USCIS sends your petition, it takes about 7-10 days for NVC to receive it (assuming it doesn't get lost on the way). Then it is about 3-4 weeks for the NVC to assign your case number. Once you have your case number you can pay your fees, which take 2-3 business days to process. Once the fees are processed you can fill out the DS-260 and submit all of your docs. It takes around 6-7 weeks for them to review docs right now, and if you have to resubmit any docs then you have to wait another 6-7 weeks for them to review the resubmitted docs.

You could be done in 2-3 months, but there are also people who spend 6+ months at NVC. It really depends on how prepared you are.

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.
