My wife brought 6 and we are sure glad  she did. If you get a few at a time it would make it easier or all at once if you hate standing in the PSA line! Whichever  works for you just bring extras!

I can get copies from the nearby SM (mall), so it's not a big deal. :)  Thanks! Will get a few more copies next week.

I do trust you. :) Just curious, what would I be needing original copies of my BC there for? So I can prepare if any more documents are needed as well.

Make sure they are original and not copies. My wife passed her Naturalization and we applied for US passport and she was approved but our son didn't have an original BC but a certified copy. The required an original. So we had some friends who were going on vacation back to the Phil and they were able to get a few copies of the originals.

AOS more importantly. But there are many things were you need to prove who you are. Different  states are different. Drivers license,  state IDs many others to name a few, not to mention the processes after AOS. Almost forgot your ROM (Report of Marriage)

I have my original BC with me, but I think you mean original PSA copy of it?

Make sure you take some time to read up on the medical process there at SLEC, you don't want to go there without at least having some idea what to expect. Also if you don't know yet make sure to bring several extra copies of YOUR (beneficiary) birth certificate with you for when you get to the US. I recommend everyone do that.

Where does one can read on the medical process? I assume you meant medical exam before the interview? What is SLEC? 🤕

Here is what is needed for the UAE.

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

P3 Letter

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ClZRCaQal3op29l-Gk17rk7eNtDCd-sH/view?usp=sharing

https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-AE/niv.

You should go to your sub-forum website here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/ and here is a recent thread for some who are processing a K-1 and their recent experience (see below).

Also, more info here from your portal http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United

A wealth of information on this thread

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

@Greenbaum is there a P3 letter for Russia, Moscow. Our case is at NVC. Expecting it to be at embassy soon. Trying to anticipate the next steps. Thank you.

Since you are filing to Russia it does not pertain to you. It pertains to petitioners and beneficiaries from the Philippines. I'm sure you can go to the Russian threads and read on your embassy and medical processes there.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I hardly think they'd be wanting the "original" BC (as in that one from when I was born). 😅 I think the "original" BC they need is the one from PSA (formerly NSO) which is a copy of the OG one, and is stamped and signed.

Ok. Let's get a few things started here. First here is the P3 information for Russia.

1. Information needed for the interview

Your sub-forum for questions specifically for Russia. This is where you need to go now.

2. SLEC is the medical center that performs the medical exam for those who are processing in the Philippines.

3. Please don't quote a LONG quote or a quote that has pictures in it. Use the "@" sign to call up the individual you are wanting to speak with. Or select the picture and delete and continue your reply below it.

4.
