Missed checkbox on AOS application

Hello! It's been a minute since I posted here, but I noticed something today..
We sent in all the paperwork for AOS 8.19 and UPS showed it as delivered on 8.21 so it's been 7 days.
I had a weird feeling about something being wrong suddenly so I checked the copy of the application I made and I noticed I missed to tick yes or no on 2 check boxes...😐(somehow, after checking the application twice after sending it in... paperwork makes my head spin I guess) .

Anyone else had this happen and can tell me what happens now, will I get an RFE? I tried googling and got spooked by results like USCIS no longer needs to give an RFE just a denial.
Will I get the paperwork get sent back so I can correct it? That's what happened when we had an error on the check for our I-129F earlier..

Also another question, my K1 visa expired now on 8.25, so 4 days after USCIS received my application. I'm assuming I'm now out of status and technically overstaying since the AOS isn't processing yet? And is it a good idea to try and stay inside until it is? I'm scared of messing something up and getting deported because my visa expired, lol.

Anyway, thankful for any help. Sorry for rambling post but I'm just so tired of this paperwork and can't believe I made a mistake, and scared since visa expired.

I doubt you will get an RFE.  More than likely you will be able to correct it when you have your AOS interview.

When you say "stay inside" are you referring to staying in the US or staying in the house?  Once you get the NOA from the AOS filing you will be fine inside the US, but don't leave the US prior to at least getting your AP card, or your AOS application would be considered abandoned.

Good Luck!

Nah, but I think that's only for cases that are clearly filed as a placeholder with no support evidence at all and they're just trying to "get their foot in the door". I think you'll be fine. You might get an RFE or might not even and they'll straighten it out at the interview.

No, as long as you have filed, you're "in status". The technical term is "a period of authorized stay by the Secretary of Homeland Security". Moreover, the expiration of the K-1 visa is no longer a concern. It is the expiration of the I-94 that you have to worry about, which is 90 days after you entered. When you used your K-1 visa to enter, the visa itself is of no concern anymore.

No, just live a normal live. You can't work until the EAD is approved and can't leave the US until AP is approved,  but you can pretty much do everything else.

It's possible they'll issue an RFE, but I concur that it's more likely  something to address at the interview. An RFE would just make more work for everybody (including the IO).

No more mistakes going forward! :) Way too important to make silly mistakes. Triplecheck everything. Luckily this shouldn't cost you anything, in the AOS interview they'll ask you to correct it.
