K1 Administrative Processing to Application Received

Hi guys,

I had my interview on 17 July, it went smoothly, the interviewer kept my passport, then my visa status was under 'Administrative processing' for 6 weeks and today it changed to 'application received'.

Is there anyone can help me what does that means? Why does it go back from administrative processing to application received?

Thank you.

It's just a "parking" spot notation. Nothing to be concerned about. Not used that often but we do see it from time to time but the application continues on through the system to final adjudication. Try not to overthink this process. What you are seeing is normal.

Hi,

My case status changed again to 'Administrative Processing' (I was in that status for about 5 weeks) and the case created date changed as well.

Not sure what this means, hopefully there will be no further issue.

Oh thanks for the assurance, cos I'm a bit confused on the status.

I just checked again today and it revert back to 'administrative processing' with a new case created date :( I was in 'administrative processing' for 5 weeks before it changed to 'application received' yesterday.
